Röhrenkorallen (Stolonifera) sind Unterordnung der Weichkorallen (Alcyonacea). Von manchen Autoren wird sie lediglich noch aus praktischen Gründen als informelle Gruppe angesehen. Hier werden im Wesentlichen Familien mit ähnlicher Wuchsform zusammengefasst, die nicht näher verwandt sein müssen.

Die Röhrenkorallen bilden flach auf dem Untergrund liegende Geflechte aus denen die Polypen nur wenige Millimeter hoch herausragen. Sie gelten in der Unterklasse der Alcyonaria als primitive Formen.
