Prostomium with antennae and palps; palps simple. Prostomium not strongly produced anteriorly. Pharynx with bifid terminal papillae present. Subterminal papillae present. Pharynx with 14–22 rows of subdistal papillae. Verrucae absent. Dorsal interramal cirri absent. Specialised dentate chaetae present in notopodium of chaetiger 1, or absent from notopodium of chaetiger 1. Barred chaetae present in preacicular fascicles. Lyrate chaetae present among postacicular chaetae of middle and posterior chaetigers. Spinose post-acicular chaetae absent. Spinulose post-acicular chaetae present, or absent. Capillary chaetae present.
