Antennae: 3 present. Median antenna present; attached on anterior part of prostomium, or attached on posterior part of prostomium; Lateral antennae attached ventrally; the median antenna is attached to middle of prostomium. Ocular peduncles or ommatophores present; separated from each other. Palps smooth, or papillate; long. Pharynx with 13–15 pairs of terminal papillae. Elytra margins smooth. Parapodial branchiae present, or absent. Superior neurochaetae long and tapering, more or less hirsute.
