Antennae: 3 present. Median antenna present; attached on posterior part of prostomium; Lateral antennae attached dorsally. Ocular peduncles or ommatophores absent. Palps papillate; long. Pharynx with 11–15 pairs of terminal papillae. Elytra margins smooth. Parapodial branchiae absent. Superior neurochaetae long and tapering, more or less hirsute, or short and brush-topped.
