Antennae: 2 present. Median antenna absent; Lateral antennae attached dorsally. Ocular peduncles or ommatophores absent. Palps smooth, or papillate; long. Pharynx with 13 pairs of terminal papillae. Elytra margins smooth. Parapodial branchiae absent. Superior neurochaetae long and tapering, more or less hirsute, or short and brush-topped.
