Antennae: 3 present. Median antenna present; attached on anterior part of prostomium, or attached on posterior part of prostomium; Lateral antennae attached ventrally; the median antenna is attached to middle of prostomium. Ocular peduncles or ommatophores present; separated from each other. Palps smooth; long. Pharynx with 15 pairs of terminal papillae (up to 15). Elytra margins smooth. Parapodial branchiae absent. Superior neurochaetae short and brush-topped.
