Prostomium anteriorly truncated. Buccal tentacles smooth. Prostomial dorsal glandular ridges absent. Branchiae 4 pairs. All branchiae similar, all smooth, none basally flanged. Only last pair of branchiae clearly associated with a specific segment. Paleae on segment 3 absent. Dorsal crest present, on either segments 6 or 7. Nuchal (post branchial) hooks on segment 4 present. Notopodia all similar. Notochaetae all smooth, present from segment 4. Neuropodia present, tori of similar length throughout thorax. Segments 3–6 with fine acicular neurochaetae. Number of pairs of thoracic uncinigers 14. Anal cirri absent.
