Prostomium anteriorly truncated. Buccal tentacles smooth. Prostomial dorsal glandular ridges absent. Branchiae 3 pairs. All branchiae similar, all smooth, none basally flanged. Branchiae arranged in transverse line. Paleae on segment 3 absent. Dorsal crest absent. Nuchal (post branchial) hooks on segment 4 absent. Notochaetae present from segment 5. Neuropodia present. Segments 3–6 with fine acicular neurochaetae (but segment 6 without neurochaetae). Number of pairs of thoracic uncinigers 10. Abdominal notopodial rudiments absent.
