Diagnosis. Idisoma circular or rounded, dorsal part convex. Dorsal and marginal shields completely fused or fused along the anterior margin. Genital shield of female oblong, triangular, shield-shaped or linguliform. Genital shield of male circular, located between coxae IV. Number of ventral setae reduced, V 2 inserted near basal part of genital shield, V 7 and V 8 near the metapodal lines. Only one pair adanal setae is present, near the central part of the anal platelet. Setae V 7 and V 8 setae are smooth, pilose or bear short hairs or spines. Hypostomal setae h 1 smooth, longer than the other hypostomal setae. Corniculi horn-like, internal malae short or long with short apical hairs. Chelicerae with nodus. All legs with a pair of ambulacral claws and with smooth simple setae.
