Type host. Phyllotis xanthopygus Waterhouse (Mammalia: Muridae). Site of infection. Caecum. Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Sierra de la Ventana, Cerro Destierro (38 º 01 ʹ 25 ʹ S, 62 º 54 ʹ 39 ʹ W). Holotype: 3 MLP 5455. Paratypes: MLP 5456 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5457 (23, 2 Ƥ), MLP 5458 (13, 1 Ƥ). Reference. Robles et al. (2006).
