Type host. Pogonias cromis (Linnaeus) (Pisces: Sciaenidae). Site of infection. Middle and posterior intestine. Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Mar Chiquita coastal lagoon (37 º 32 ʹS, 57 º 19 ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5520. Paratypes: MLP 5521 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5522 (433, 5 ƤƤ). Reference. Alarcos et al. (2006).
