Type host. Pterodroma externa (Salvin) (Aves: Procellariidae). Site of infection. Stomach, oesophagus, and gizzard lining. Type locality. Chile, Pacific Ocean, Archipiélago Juan Fernández (33 º 41 ʹ – 33 º 45 ʹS, 79 º 01 ʹ – 80 º 45 ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5630. Paratypes: MLP 5631 (allotype Ƥ); MLP 5632 (3 ƤƤ). Remarks. Other material in the U. S. National Parasite Collection, Beltsville, Maryland. Reference. Díaz et al. (2007).
