Type host. Odontesthes argentinus (Valenciennes) (Pisces: Atherinidae). Site of infection. Intestine. Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Mar del Plata (38 º 00 ʹS, 57 º 34 ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 4882. Paratypes: MLP 4883 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 4884 (533), MLP 4885 (5 ƤƤ). Reference. Daniel et al. (2002).
