Type host. Genypterus blacodes Schneider (Pisces: Ophidiidae). Site of infection. Small intestine. Type locality. Argentina, South zone of the Argentinean Shelf, (49 ° 20 ʹS, 63 ° 25 ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 3497 / 1. Paratypes: (allotype Ƥ) MLP 3497 / 2, MLP 3497 / 3 (9 33, 9 ƤƤ). Reference. Sardella et al. (1997).
