Paratypes (7): 2 ΨΨ, 1 ɗ, 4 immatures (3 ΨΨ, 1 ɗ), MLP 598 (ventral plate and 6 legs of a Ψ paratype on a slide not labeled as paratype but cited as such in the original description); remaining paratype materials in alcohol, same data as type. Remarks: In the original description (p. 325) the author reports as type locality: ‘ CHILE: Quebrada Macul, barrio Santiago de Chile, en el distrito de Ñuñca’ (misspelling for Ñuñoa?). According to the original description, 2 paratypes (1 Ψ and 1 ɗ) were deposited in the author’s collection. cordobensis, Platinodesmus Schubart 1954 a. Notas Mus. La Plata, Zoología 17 (150): 126. Remarks: Left gonopod on a slide housed at MZUSP. In the original description, Schubart reported 1 Ψ from the type locality, not presently housed at MLP. iguazuensis, Leptodesmus Schubart 1954 a. Notas Mus. La Plata, Zoología 17 (150): 136. Type, ɗ, MLP 582 (legs 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 on a slide; gonopods on a second slide; rest of the body in alcohol), ARGENTINA: Misiones, P. Notas Mus. La Plata, Zoología 17 (154): 310. Holotype, ɗ, MLP 599 (legs 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 on a slide; gonopods on a second slide; rest of the body not presently housed at MLP), ARGENTINA: Neuquén, Lago Nahuel Huapi, Isla Victoria, XII 1943, Havrilenko coll. Remarks: The specimens that Schubart mentions in his original description are 1 ɗ and 3 ΨΨ (all with same number and data as holotype). At the MLP collection, besides the holotype ɗ, there is a vial with a label handwritten by Schubart that reads: ‘ 2 ΨΨ – Allotype’ containing two ΨΨ specimens (none of them individualized as allotype) and also a slide with legs 3, 7, 15 and 30 of a Ψ that presumably correspond to the allotype, but not labeled as so. According to Schubart the remaining Ψ specimen was deposited in his personal collection. missiones, Camptomorpha Schubart 1954 a. Notas Mus. La Plata, Zoología 17 (150): 117. Remarks: The sample MLP 597 is labeled as ‘ Camptomorpha missionensis’, however in the original description the species is named: ‘ Camptomorpha missiones’, even if under the subtitle ‘ Observaciones’ (p. 119) the species is referred to as C. missionensis. In the original description, the collecting date of holotype is lacking, but the label of MLP 597 indicates ‘ 10 / 13 XI 1944 ’. nahuelhuapiensis, Monenchodesmus inermis Schubart 1954 b. Notas Mus. La Plata, Zoología 17 (150): 132. Holotype, ɗ, MLP 558 (legs 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 on a slide labeled as ‘ typus’; gonopods on a second slide labeled as ‘ typus’; rest of the body in alcohol, labeled as ‘ holotypus’), ARGEN TINA: Chaco, Pinedo, 8 XII 1939, M. Remarks: According to Schubart, 2 ɗɗ from sample MLP 558 were deposited in his personal collection.
