Remarks: The African and Neotropical family Pselliodidae has never been comprehensively revised, and is still a great challenge for taxonomists interested in the systematics of the Scutigeromorpha. Two African morphotypes, P. rugosus (East Africa) and P. vagans (West Africa), can easily be distinguished solely on the basis of their coloration. Our specimens, although badly damaged, are more like the latter, hitherto known from Angola (Chinchoxo; Landana, Enclave de Cabinda), Gabon (Moanda) and Zaire (Eala, Luali, N’Gongo Bata).
