Remarks. The species is fairly similar to Planapheretima lacertina (Chen, 1946), but differs in having spermathecal pores paired in 5 / 6 / 7 dorsally and pigments dorsally (Thai 1997). Thai (1983) proposed a new subgenus Terrata of the genus Pheretima, and placed the species under the new subgenus.
