Type locality. South Atlantic (St. Helena Isl.). Type material. Stockkholm Museum, Sweden. Records from Vietnam. This species was reported from provinces of Lang Son and Cao Bang, both in the northern Vietnam for its use in aquatic agriculture (Blakemore 2015).
