Remarks. The species is similar to Metapheretima speiseri (Michaelsen, 1913) and Metapheretima apunae Lee, 1981, but differs from both in having two pairs of spermathecal pores in 5 / 6 and the spermathecal diverticulum originating from the spermathecal duct (Thai 1984 b).
