Description. Medium-sized ovoidal carapace. Pronounced overlap of the larger LV over the smaller RV along whole outline. Marked bow-shaped projection. Hmax, Lmax and Wmax median. Convex dorsal margin, oblique posteriorly, more arched anteriorly. Regularly convex ventral margin. Ventral and dorsal margins converging both anteriorly and posteriorly. Convex and highly arched anterior and posterior margins, sharper at mid-length. Anterior part of the carapace higher than the posterior one. Surface smooth.

Discussion. This single specimen exhibits a particular egg-shaped carapace, but well shows features of the Tubulibairdia genus. By its small size, it could be a juvenile. Occurrences. Middle Givetian (Candás Fm, mb A), Asturias (Peran-Perlora section).
