Description. Addendum to Schneider & D’Haese (2013). Total length of antenna ~ 77 µm; max width (Ant. III) ~ 19.4 µm; ratio width: length ~ 0.25; ratio length of Ant. I: Ant. II: Ant. III: Ant. IV = 0.2: 0.43: 0.56: 1. Correction from Schneider & D’Haese (2013): with only seven ordinary chaetae on Ant. III, with seven ordinary chaetae on Ant. IV (Fig. 15 F – G); a simple channel present on Th. II – Th. III sterna, not reaching the terga.

Discussion. The antenna of M. svalbardensis is similar to the antenna of M. tatrensis in term of chaetotaxic pattern.
