Records from Rio de Janeiro State: Tijuca National Park (22 ° 55 ’ – 23 ° 01 ’ S; 43 ° 12 ’ – 43 ° 19 ’ W), decomposing trunks and forest soil and litter (Arlé 1959; Mendonça et al. 2005); Teresópolis municipality (22 º 27 ’ 07.21 ” S; 42 º 58 ” 44.80 ” W), soil and litter collected near of “ Granja Comary ” (Mendonça et al. 2005); Serra dos Órgãos National Park, soil and litter (Arlé 1959) and litter accumulated between roots (Mendonça et al. 2005). Occurrence in Brazil: endemic species from Rio de Janeiro.
