Lysorophus is a genus of Lysorophia, extinct Permian Lepospondyl tetrapods.The Paleobiology Database http://paleodb.org/cgi-bin/bridge.pl?action=checkTaxonInfo&taxon_no=37322&is_real_user=1 Most of the specimens are found from North America and attributed to the first formally described species Lysorophus tricarinatus due to the lack of diagnostic characters, but several other species have been described.Wellstead, C.F., Taxonomic revision of the Lysorophia, Permo-Carboniferous lepospondyl amphibians.
