Weidner (1960: 68) listed 3 syntypes from Bolivia, Vulcano Sorate, and 2 additional types from Peru, Santa Ana. Collection remarks. The specimens from Bolivia were collected by Charles Bock. The specimens from Peru came from the collection of the Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt (Senckenberg Naturmuseum). There are several places named “ Santa Ana ” (probably misspelled as Santa Anna) in Peru and we are not able to georeference these syntypes. Current systematic position. Cormocephalus andinus (Kraepelin, 1903); transferred by Attems (1930: 105).
