Type material. Syntype ♂ (ZMH-A 0000557). AUSTRALIA: Western Australia, Harvey [ca. 33 ° 04 ’ S, 115 ° 54 ’ E]. Preservation. 1 jar: Label 1. Hamb. S. W. Austral. Exp. 1905 136 Harvey 27. VII. (imprint); Label 2. Eurytion incisunguis Att., Typus, Coll. Michaelsen 1905, Harvey W. Austral; Label 3. Eurytion incisunguis n. sp. C. Attems determ. Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 62, No. 9. Holotype. Type status. Attems did not mention the number of specimens in his description and there is one additional ♀ at the NHMW. All specimens are syntypes. Other type material. There is 1 ♀, head missing, 1 slide (Mx, prepared by Crabill), probably syntype, held at the NHMW (no. 7056). Ilie et al. (2009: 36) noted ” Attems 1911 a pictured only male features, not indicating how many individuals of which sex were available for the description. Weidner (1960: 62) claimed the holotype for the ZMH. ” Collection remarks. The specimen was collected by Wilhelm Michaelsen during his expedition to Western Australia 1905. Current systematic position. Steneurytion incisunguis (Attems, 1911); transferred to this genus by Bonato et al. (2007: 8).
