Weidner (1960), p. 62, No. 10. Syntypes 3. Type status. Silvestri (1907) did not specify the number of specimens in his original description and all are syntypes. Curatorial remarks. 3 microscope slides are held at the ZMH (note on file card: “ 3 Präp., Syntypen, ohne Fundort, Crabill rev. et präp. ”). The ZMH holds 4 syntypes, contra Weidner (1960). Collection remarks. The specimens were collected by the German medical doctor and entomologist Hans Brauns (1857 – 1929). Current systematic position. Polygonarea kraepelini (Silvestri, 1907); transferred to this genus by Attems (1909: 25).
