Type material. Syntypes 2. AUSTRALIA: Western Australia: (ZMH-A 0000575), Fremantle (station 117) [ca. 33 ° 03 ’ S, 115 ° 45 ’ E]; (ZMH-A 0006403), Jarrahdale (station 129) [ca. 32 ° 20 ’ S, 116 ° 04 ’ E]. Preservation. 1 jar and 2 vials. Vial 1 (ZMH-A 0000575): Label. Hambg. S. W. Austral. Exp. 1905, 117 Fremantle, Kalkhügel 23. VII. (imprint). Head, posteror segments and a trunk section are stored in a microvial. Vial 2 (ZMH-A 0006403): Label 1. Hambg. S. W. Austral. Exp. 1905, 129 Jarrahdale 19. / 20. IX. (imprint). Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 63, No. 32. Syntypes (number not specified). Curatorial remarks. Attems (1911 a) did not specify the number of the specimens. Weidner (1960: 63) listed syntypes from Jarrahdale and Fremantle, respectively. We agree that these are syntypes. Additional type material. There are additional syntypes (coll. W. Michaelsen & R. Hartmeyer 1905) at the NHMW: 1 ♀ microscope slide from Serpentine (no. 7021) & 1 ♀, 1 defective slide (head, Mx) from Jarrahdale (no. 7019). Ilie et al (2009: 47) noted, “ Attems 1911 a did not specify a subspecies P. repanda repanda but only P. r. multipes and P. r. conifera. See ‘ Notes’ at ‘ repanda ’. 1 ♂ syntype from Wooroloo and 1 ♀ syntype from Mundaring Weir are stored at ZMB (Moritz & Fischer 1979: 347). Syntypes from Jarrahdale are also preserved at ZMH (Weidner 1960: 63) ”. There are syntypes from Mundaring Weir and Wooroloo at the ZMB (no. 5149, 5148 a – b). Collection remarks. The specimens were collected by Wilhelm Michaelsen during his expedition to Western Australia 1905. The specimen from Fremantle was collected on a limestone hill (“ Kalkhügel ”). Current systematic position. Ribautia repanda (Attems, 1911); transferred to this genus by Ribaut (1912: 86) as Ribautia repandum.
