Collection remarks. The type locality “ Amani ” refers to the present Amani Center for Medical Research, located ca. 40 km west of Tanga. The present specimen was apparently found in a seed box (“ Saatkästchen ”). Current systematic position. Proschizotaenia mediocris Silvestri, 1907.
