Local name Mamunman (Sansundi). Range A. s. obscura Biak, Supiori; A. s. megala Yapen. Status Endemic subspecies. Obtained by three collectors and observed by most visitors. Moderately common, occasionally seen in groups of 3 ‒ 4. Most frequent in mature secondary and selectively logged forest, but also at the edge of tall primary forest.
